Melonie Park's preaching is both expositional and practically relevant, and we enjoy a blended style of music which is designed to involve the heart of the worshipper. In all we do, we desire to glorify God.
 

Roger Wisdom has served as our primary teaching pastor over the past fourteen years as he has partnered with the other elders in shepherding the church family at Melonie Park Church. A little more than 5 years ago, Roger and the elders began planning and discussing the timing of his retirement from the teaching pastor role. The elders considered several options for a succession plan that would be best for the family of Melonie Park. After much consideration and prayer, Todd Cepica was asked to consider assuming the teaching pastor responsibilities when Roger retired. Todd and his wife Teri have been part of Melonie Park since the mid 1980s and he has served as an elder since 1999. After more prayerful consideration, Todd accepted the elders’ request and began his preparation to assume this responsibility.  The details of this decision were discussed with the church body through a series of “family meetings” and dialogue with the leadership.  The body overwhelmingly affirmed the elders’ decision for Todd to assume the role as teaching pastor of Melonie Park Church upon Roger’s retirement. Todd will complete his seminary coursework in the next year.  In June of 2009 Roger will begin his retirement and Todd will at that time assume the role as Melonie Park’s teaching pastor.
