The Melonie Park Library Ministry provides an attractive, extensive, and quality library which offers Christian based literature, movies and audio resources. The MPC library is used and enjoyed by all ages from toddlers to senior adults as well as attenders and non-attenders. It is an fairly large library for a church our size which contains 5000 items. 

The goals of the library ministry are: 

• to maintain and develop the library so that it offers current, enjoyable and helpful resources

• to encourage reading of Christian based literature

• to provide opportunities for readers to connect with each other in small group book discussions of Christian based literature

• to periodically bring in authors of Christian literature who give insight into the world of Christian writing and encourage those who are perhaps interested in writing
   

The Library Committee meets periodically to set goals, plan, and evaluate these goals. We hope to increase the use of the library through the website with book reviews, author profiles, recommendations, etc. to readers. Special events will be listed on the MPC calendar and may include discussion groups, reading times, and guest authors.
